Snacko is a game that draws a lot of inspiration from the titles we played growing up, both visually and thematically. Story of Seasons and Animal Crossing are obvious, but others like the art of the early Pokémon games, or the feel of games like Ragnarok Online also played a part. We wanted to make a game that plays homage to the things we love, but also put our own spin on it. Also cat puns. Lots and lots of cat puns.
Chai is a 1-5 player game where you take on the role of a merchant racing to collect ingredients to fulfill customers’ thirst for tea. Think Diner Dash meets Teavana, but in board game form. Chai was designed by Dan and Connie Kazmaier and successfully funded on Kickstarter back in Winter 2018, but it’s back with a new expansion called Chai: High Tea. The expansion includes transparent dice and six new double-sided ability boards for a total of 12 unique abilities.
Blinks is a game system that isn’t just one game, but many. Originally it was kickstarted in 2018 and after more than 15,000 sales they are finally back with even more games. Each Blink is a game piece and a game cartridge and they will teach each other how to play. People can buy just a few of them or up to 36 of them to be able to play with up to 6 players. They curated the top 6 games from their community of game designers who took their technology and created truly original game designs.
